Summer 30 Super Artificial Turf
30mm pile · Budget
An Australian-made all-rounder with IR-reflective yarn that keeps the surface cooler underfoot on hot days. The pick for family backyards wanting a lush, low-maintenance lawn.
$42.57 / m² inc. GST
Sold in fixed lengths at 3.71m wide, not cut to any exact size.
This turf comes in fixed lengths, not custom-cut to your exact size. Enter your yard's two dimensions and we'll suggest a rough plan, then pick the actual length on the Order tab.
An estimate for planning only, not an exact cutting plan. Strips longer than one roll join with seaming tape; areas narrower than 3.71m still use a full width and the offcut is yours to keep or trim away.

Built into this turf
-
Sanitised® antimicrobial
Up to 99% microbe reduction
A silver-based antimicrobial treatment in the yarn. In the manufacturer's testing it delivers up to a 99% reduction of microbes, helping keep the surface fresher between hose-downs.
-
COOLplus® IR-reflective yarn
Up to 42% more IR reflectivity
An infrared-reflective treatment built into the fibre itself. Comparing the same fibre with and without it, the manufacturer's testing shows up to a 42% increase in IR reflectivity, so the yarn bounces back more of the sun's heat instead of soaking it up.
-
StatBlock™ anti-static
An anti-static yarn treatment that helps stop the static build-up synthetic surfaces are known for. APT states Super Yarn is the only yarn in the industry to combine Sanitised®, COOLplus® and StatBlock™ in a single fibre.
Every roll in our range
- Paintback® recycled backing From October 2025
- Through APT's partnership with Paintback, turf backing now includes around 10% recycled content from recovered paint, a change APT calls a world-first for the industry, with no change to any warranty.
- Australian-made yarn
- APT states it is the only manufacturer making synthetic-turf yarn in Australia, and that its yarn has been through 25 years of continuous exposure testing at the NATA-accredited Allunga Exposure Laboratory in Townsville. The yarn itself is extruded in Melbourne.
- Free-draining backing Up to ~2,000mm/hour
- The punch-hole backing drains up to around 2,000mm of water per hour in the manufacturer's testing: a summer downpour, or a hose-down of the dog's corner, runs straight through.
- Fire tested
- Every turf in our range is tested to AS/ISO 9239.1-2003, the radiant-panel fire test for flooring.

Frequently asked questions
- Is the price per square metre the full price?
- The per m² price includes GST. Your total is that rate multiplied by the length you choose, plus a $55.00 cutting fee on any length shorter than a full roll, plus delivery shown before you pay. A full-roll order has no cutting fee.
- Does the price include installation?
- No. We supply the turf, and laying it is up to you or your landscaper. Professional installation in Australia typically adds about $30-70 per m² on top of the turf, and our how to lay artificial turf guide walks through doing it yourself.
- What is the minimum order, and how wide are the rolls?
- Rolls are 3.71m wide, in the fixed lengths listed on this page, from a 5m minimum up to a full 20m roll. A length shorter than a full roll carries a cutting fee, shown before you pay. Areas wider than one roll are laid in strips and joined underneath with seaming tape; done properly the join disappears into the pile.
- Do I need sand infill?
- For most lawns, yes. Kiln-dried silica sand brushed into the pile holds the blades upright, protects the backing and keeps the turf sitting flat; allow roughly 8-12 kg per m² depending on pile height. It isn't included with the turf and any landscape supplier stocks it.
- How long does delivery take?
- Delivery is a flat $49.00, shipped direct from the supplier. Delivered to every state except WA and SA. We confirm the dispatch date by email once your order is placed.
- Is this turf suitable for dogs?
- Yes, especially for kennel runs, side strips and dedicated toilet zones, where a short pile hoses off fast and dries quickly. For the main yard most dog owners step up to a 25-35mm pile. See our turf for dogs and pets page for the full spec.
- Is this turf treated to resist odours or bacteria?
- Yes. The yarn carries a silver-based Sanitised® antimicrobial treatment that, in the manufacturer's testing, delivers up to a 99% reduction of microbes, which helps keep the surface fresher between hose-downs. It's not a substitute for regular cleaning, just a head start.
