Paintback® recycled backing
From October 2025
Through APT's partnership with Paintback, turf backing now includes around 10% recycled content from recovered paint, a change APT calls a world-first for the industry, with no change to any warranty.

Australian-made yarn
APT states it is the only manufacturer making synthetic-turf yarn in Australia, and that its yarn has been through 25 years of continuous exposure testing at the NATA-accredited Allunga Exposure Laboratory in Townsville. The yarn itself is extruded in Melbourne.

Free-draining backing
Up to ~2,000mm/hour
The punch-hole backing drains up to around 2,000mm of water per hour in the manufacturer's testing. A summer downpour, or a hose-down of the dog's corner, runs straight through.

Every turf in our range is tested to AS/ISO 9239.1-2003, the radiant-panel fire test for flooring.
