Frequently asked questions
The questions we get most, answered straight. Anything not covered here is probably in the guides.
- What lengths can I order artificial grass in?
- Turf ships in fixed cut lengths, commonly 5m, 10m, 15m or a full 20m roll depending on the product, at a 3.71m roll width. A length shorter than a full roll carries a cutting fee, shown before you pay. We cannot cut to an arbitrary size or shape; you pick the nearest length above your measurement and trim on site. Why turf comes in fixed lengths.
- How wide are the rolls?
- All our turf comes on 3.71m wide rolls, the Australian-manufactured standard, wider than the 3m rolls common in imported product. For areas wider than one roll, strips are laid side by side and joined underneath with seaming tape; done properly the join disappears into the pile. How to measure your yard.
- Do you deliver everywhere in Australia?
- We deliver Australia-wide with one exception: we cannot ship to Western Australia. Delivery is a flat rate shown at checkout, and orders ship direct from our supplier to your door. Turf rolls are heavy, so provide an address where they can be safely received.
- Does the price include installation?
- No. We supply the turf only, and laying it is up to you or your landscaper. Professional installation in Australia typically adds about $30-70 per square metre on top of the turf. Plenty of buyers lay it themselves over a weekend. How to lay artificial turf yourself.
- Which pile height should I pick?
- 20mm is firm and tidy, suited to balconies, display areas and high traffic. 30mm is the family all-rounder for lawns with kids and dogs. 40mm has the deepest, most established look and suits front yards and entertaining areas that get admired more than trampled. The full pile height comparison.
- Is artificial grass suitable for dogs?
- Yes, and a 25-35mm pile is the band most dog yards end up in. It cleans easily, springs back from daily running and drains through a free-draining base. Hose the toilet zone weekly and it stays fresh. Turf for dogs and pets.
- Do I need sand infill?
- For most lawns, yes. Kiln-dried silica sand brushed into the pile holds the blades upright, protects the backing and keeps the turf sitting flat. Allow roughly 8-12kg per square metre depending on pile height; any landscape supplier stocks it.
- How do I pay?
- By card at checkout, processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Your total, including delivery and any cutting fee, is shown before you pay.
- Can I return artificial grass?
- Full rolls can be returned for change of mind within 14 days if unused, uncut and in original condition. Cut lengths are made to order, so double-check your measurement before ordering. Faulty or damaged turf is covered regardless under Australian Consumer Law, and we organise the return. The full refunds and returns policy.
- Do you sell to landscapers and trade buyers?
- Yes. The same range is open to trade at retail today, full rolls carry no cutting fee, and volume pricing is being finalised with our supplier now. Trade buyers can register to get the rates first. Trade and wholesale supply.
